Aspidoscelis neomexicanus

These lady lizards have done away with males completely, reproducing through parthenogenisis, or cloning themselves. Way to take it to the next level, you sly squamates! 

Actophilornis africanus

This leggy lass not only has bigger feet, but she maintains a harem of smaller males that compete for her attention, build the nests, and rear the young. Way to delegate like a boss, queen.  

Heterocephalus glaber

Matriarchs of uniquely eusocial mammalian societies, these little beasties have hacked the rodent genome and live for decades. Also, they don't get cancer. Oh, to be a molerat! Scientists just found that queen molerats produce a chemical that alters the hormones of other females, keeping them in pre-pubescent state. Which honestly? Kind of okay with. Adulting is overrated.
