Architeuthis dux

The real life kracken, these spineless beasts can reach lengths of over 40 ft, hunting who knows what down in the darkest depths of the sea. Their cousin, the Colossal Squid, is the heaviest marine invertebrate. 

Mobula birostris

The widest fish in the sea, these majestic flapflaps can have a wingspan of over 20 ft! They live a long time, and studies show that they can recognize themselves in a mirror, which is some high level thinking for a fish!

Mola mola

The ocean sunfish is the most awkward fish in the sea. My soul critter. The world's heaviest bony fish, these chonks can grow to 5000 lbs and up to 14 ft tall on a diet of jellyfish! They also undergo the largest growth, starting as a tiny pea sized nugget.  Live like a mola - dive deep. Seek out the sun. Go with the flow. Never stop growing. Be your glorious weird self.  

 Dermochelys coriacea

The largest of the seven species of sea turtles, these sleek squirtles are the fastest and widest-ranging reptiles in the world. They're also arguably the sexiest. 

Mirounga angustirostris

These proboscos-forward pinnipeds can tip the scales at over 8000 lbs, and only come ashore to mate and molt. Northern elephant seals were hunted to near extinction, down to only a dozen or so individuals, but have since recovered to impressive numbers!

Balaenoptera musculus

The blue whale is the largest animal to ever have lived. Their aorta is big enough for a person to swim through, their flukes are as wide as an airplane's wings, and they can communicate across ocean basins.
